Hüsnü Çakın was born on 01.01.1954 in Karaboyalık village, Sivaslı district, Uşak province. He attended primary school in Karaboyalık village, secondary school in Uşak Halit Ziya Primary School and high school in Uşak Industrial Vocational High School. He graduated from Ankara Higher Technical Teacher Training School Furniture Decoration Department in 1979 and completed his university education with the title of Technical Teacher.

Hüsnü ÇAKIN, who worked at Alarko in Istanbul for 2 years after his school life, established Cenk Endüstri Tesisleri İmalat ve Taahhüt A.Ş., which is also located in Istanbul and manufactures and assembles water cooling towers, together with 5 friends.

5 friends established Semitaş Emprenye ve Sanayi Tesisleri A.Ş. in Banaz in 1984 with their experience and knowledge gained over the years. By investing in Banaz, the company provided employment to the local people and took its place in the economic cycle of the homeland directly and indirectly with its activities.

Besides Semitaş A.Ş., he was also the founding partner of Sece – Niba and Pull Tech companies. Hüsnü ÇAKIN, who was also a member of many associations/foundations, was a person who was able to fit countless social responsibility projects into his life. We will always remember Hüsnü ÇAKIN, who passed away on March 11, 2020, with compassion and gratitude. Today, the sisters and the team led by them, who demonstrate the privilege of women in the sector with the strength and vision they received from their father, are working with all their strength to take SEMİTAŞ A.Ş. one step further.
